About usethatcard.com
A straightforward resource for credit card benefits
Most credit card comparison sites exist to earn a commission when you apply for a card. The rankings, the recommendations, the editorial reviews — all of it is shaped by who is paying. We built usethatcard.com to be something different. A reference tool, not a sales funnel.
How it works
What we track and how
Every card in our database is researched directly from issuer websites, cardholder agreements, and benefit guides. We track the benefits that matter most to cardholders — statement credits, travel perks, lounge access, streaming subscriptions, cell phone protection, and more.
Each benefit includes the dollar value where applicable, the conditions that apply, and the date it was last verified. When a benefit changes we update the record and note when the change was made.
We do not accept payment from card issuers to include or feature their cards. We do not rank cards based on affiliate commission rates. Every card is presented on equal footing.
Our data
Accuracy and freshness
Credit card benefits change more often than most people realize. Issuers add, modify, and remove perks throughout the year, sometimes with little notice. We do our best to keep data current but we cannot guarantee every benefit reflects the most recent terms at any given moment.
Every card record shows a last verified date. If you are making a financial decision based on a specific benefit, always confirm the current terms directly with the card issuer before acting on what you see here.
My wallet
Your data stays in your browser
The My Wallet feature saves your cards and benefit status directly to your browser using localStorage. Nothing is sent to a server. No account is required. If you clear your browser data your wallet resets, and your wallet does not follow you across devices or browsers.
A premium version with cross-device sync, expiration reminders, and annual summaries is in development. If you want to be notified when it is ready, you can sign up below.
Monetization
How we keep the lights on
The free version of usethatcard.com is and will remain free. We plan to generate revenue through a premium My Wallet subscription, verified issuer data partnerships, and eventually a white-label version for financial institutions. We will never run ads or accept affiliate placements that influence how cards are presented.

Found something outdated or missing?
Benefits change throughout the year and we cannot catch every update on our own. If you spot a benefit that is wrong, outdated, or missing entirely, let us know and we will get it reviewed and updated.
